Okay, here’s my headcanon about Otokichi and the Crescendo Tone.
They’re married.
The Crescendo Tone is Aphrodite’s mother. She’s also the fairy tones’ mother. Dori, Reri, Miri, Fari, Sori, Lari, and Shiri are septuplets; Dodori is a singleton, and was born after the others (that’s why her eyes are different). She was a “surprise” not too long after Aphrodite was born. Then the Crescendo Tone was like, “HELL NO I am not having any more kids I have NINE okay”.
Noise was actually in love with the Crescendo Tone, so he and Otokichi were competing against each other to see who could win her affections. Otokichi fought against Noise and proved himself to be a super manly man, and the Crescendo Tone was mighty impressed. She was like, “Let’s get this Noise guy out of my face” and so they sealed him into a fossil.
That’s why Noise was so angry and pissed. He lost the woman he loved AND he was sealed into a fossil for like…30+ years. Wouldn’t you be pissed?
